EBay’s response the scam sellers on ebay
Summary: sh_14909 shared their experience of ordering an item on eBay that was not as described and facing a rude seller who refused a refund. They reported the issue and left a review, which the seller managed to get removed despite showing evidence of the seller's behavior. eBay did not take action against the seller. john1297576 suggested following the proper refund process by using eBay's money back guarantee and escalating if necessary.
So I made an order and what’s arrived it not what was in the description the sell was incredibly rude and said no refunds. I left a review of the product showing what was sent to me and the seller reported me and got the review removed. EBay found no abuse from me yet they took the review down and when I provided screenshots of the seller being rude and reported them eBay did nothing. I know there was no evidence of me breaking any policies as you can’t document something that didn’t happen yet when shown evidence eBay refused to act. This seller is scamming people using this site and when their actions are showing eBay swoop in to hide them and continue profiling from scam sellers act

Mentor1 month agoBuyers have the opportunity to return a not as described item and get a full refund under eBay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee/Buyer Protection.
If you choose not to do this and just leave bad feedback then it doesn't give the seller the opportunity to put things right, and they can apply to eBay to have that feedback removed.
