ebays miscalculates combined postage price
especially on dvd's.
does ebay assume a bundle of , say, six dvd's combined with another six dvd's is under 1 kg weight ??? and can we assume the package will not be delivered without some party paying extra.

Mentor4 months agoeBay only estimates weight so it's supposed to be OK to send but personally I wouldn't rely on it and we have heard of buyers being charged or items returns.
You cannot add or change a Simple Delivery label. It's better to cancel/refund the transactions with the buyer's agreement and relist with items on one listing and a single postage cost for the buyer to buy and pay again.
For future sales you could put a note on your listings that any buyers wanting to buy more that one lot should let you know first. Then you can relist those items into one listing with one correct postage cost.

OP4 months agothe problem is ebay clearly thinks a bundle of books under 1kg is one book
and a bundle of dvd's under 1kg is 1 dvd.
two listings combined will be over 1kg but ebay doesnt seem to be able to calculate this
