EBay voucher…..NOT AT ALL HAPPY!
Ok so I ordered a £202.18 lawnmower using a 10% off voucher, the summary even had it listed total was £171.85 but eBay still charged me £202.18…..I contacted eBay to be told we have had a number of calls like this today. He checked out the terms and conditions and was all ok, he said he could see the voucher was activated on this order and this was the only purchase, I was put on hold, then told this is eBay’s fault and it is a UI issue and he had sent some message to someone (I don’t know who) explaining that this was an issue with eBay, he said eBay would refund me £30.33 and he would call back within 24-48 to confirm this……I waited to get NO phone call so I contacted eBay the advisor didn’t take any of my details listened to half of what I had to say and said no no no what you’ve been told is wrong basically saying unlucky cancel the order! when I tried to tell him the item is already here and been used with no issues, his reply was well you should of been told to cancel the order and reorder it! in my eyes this isn’t my fault, this isn’t the sellers fault but yet we have to suffer because eBay had a hiccup? And everyone knows eBay takes 3 days to refund so if I had the same issue eBay would of had over £400 of my money and a seller would of lost a sale! NOT HAPPY LIKE!!
