Ebay UK Knife policy.
I'm somewhat confused with eBays Knife policy. EBay UK removed my listing for a butter knife & jam spoon boxed set yet there are 1,800 butter knives listed in the UK (with three identical items to my listing actually having been sold ), & 9,800 listed worldwide ! With thousands of other carving, steak, cheese knives etc freely listed & available on eBay can anyone help explain this strange anomaly ?

Mentor1 week agoDid you include age verification service for delivery? That would be a reason for eBay to pull your item. Eg Did you have UPS age verification as your postal service? You don't say.

No I haven't included age verification service or have UPS age verification as your postal service which I wouldn't have a clue of how to do as I have never had this problem in the past with similar items I have sold. It sounds as if this is a relatively new eBay requirement which I haven't come across before. Probably easier to sell elsewhere, I'm too old & life's too short to keep up with eBay's constant "improvements" !
