eBay suggesting I buy my own items
Summary: oneblankcard reported encountering a strange error on eBay, where a new category labeled 'Curated finds for you' features their own listings as recommendations. Additionally, when attempting to copy and paste text from the site, it appeared as a mix of characters from multiple languages. fargvs suggested trying different browsers, and *vyolla* pointed out that the text might be corrupted. oneblankcard clarified that the issue persists across devices and after clearing cookies, and they have contacted eBay for support.
I have a shop. When I logged in this morning I was met with a new category, inserted by eBay just above my featured categories. The Heading "Curated finds for you Explore product recommendations inspired by your shopping trends"
OK but why are all the listings my own?? The last thing I bought was a diary. Just to add to the mix if I cut and paste the words Curated listings etc, This is what comes up when I paste as I have done here

Anyone else noticed this on their site or is it just sent to p me off.

Mentor3 weeks agoThat isn’t a single identifiable language. It’s a mixture of characters from many different languages - Japanese, Korean, Thai, Arabic to name but a few. Could be corrupted text or a unicode test string. Log out, clear eBay cookies and then log in again, is it still there?

OP3 weeks agoBefore answering you I logged out, went to settings deleted all cookies. Shut down logged into ebay and it's still here. This morning was on a desk top - this is from my lap top. I have been in touch with eBay. It's not so much the foreign language picked up by cut and paste but the fact they are all my own listings that bay think I would like t o buy!

OP3 weeks agoThis nothing to do with browsers. I have a lap top and a desk top results are the same.
