Ebay stripped out all contact details
I bought an item. The wrong one arrived.
I contacted the sellers. They did not respond.
I put in a return request. They did not respond.
I tried to contact ebay to get them involved and there is NO way to contact ebay.
Every single things that looks like it will let me contact ebay goes to an "information" page.
How are you supposed to contact ebay when a seller refuses a return?

·11 months agoYou have given conflicting information, saying the seller did not respond to your return request, but also that they refused a return.
If you can say what you bought, when you received it, when you opened the return case and the reason you gave for return, then you can get good advice here in the forum.

OP11 months agoI opened a return request on 30th August. This was accepted.
There has been no response from the seller (i.e. no return label) as of today.
Having spent about 1 hour trying to figure out how to contact ebay I finally got to a useless chatbot. After about 30 minutes I figured out how to get that to put me on to something that does something - a person. They are now telling me that the buyer has another 5 days to do something.
I remember when there wasn't all these barriers to contacting ebay to get things done.

·11 months agoNow you have an open case, you just need to go back to the case.
Usually, the seller has 3 business (working) days to respond.
After that time, the option to ask Ebay to step in appears in the case.
I would go back to the case tomorrow and see if the option to ask Ebay to step in is there.
Once you do that, they usually either supply a label and charge the seller or refund you without requiring you to return the item.
