Ebay stealing money
Ebay is stealing my money, I mean that I sold my product for 100 pounds, buyer didnt like it because claimed that there was some problems, buyer opened return, Royal mail claimed that this return was returned/delivered to me, but it wasnt, I asked ebay to step in and help, they closed this case in buyer favour, they deduct all 100 pounds from my funds, and never gave me back ebay fees plus money from promotion, I get only about 70 pounds when I sold it, now ebay took 100 plus before 30 for fees and promotion, I called ebay support help centre, and they said that they cant help me at all.
Im glad that soon I wont use ebay anymore, because they only care about money, they want only more and more for everything, plus they stealing money too.

Mentor6 months agoeBay has not stolen your money. eBay goes by the postal tracking record. If the Royal Mail tracking stated that it was successfully delivered to your address, eBay will have accepted this as proof of delivery. Just as they do when items are tracked as delivered to a buyer's address. You accepted this in the user agreement.
If you can show that the delivery record was incorrect, and that the item was delivered to the wrong address, you might be able to appeal. But not if it was simply stolen from your doorstep, which happens all too often.
You haven't told us who paid for the return. If it was you, you might be able to claim from Royal Mail. But unless you used a service that was insured for the value and can disprove the tracking status as delivered I'm afraid it may be a difficult claim to win.

Mentor6 months agoIt's unfortunate that you asked eBay to step in without first contacting Royal Mail and getting them to confirm that the delivery address wasn't yours (they won't tell where it was delivered, but they will confirm that it isn't your returns address).
There isn't a way to appeal this now with eBay, it's a shame that you didn't find us first.
