Ebay simply closed my case saying it can't be appealed
Summary: radioguide ordered a cement mixer that arrived faulty and, after receiving a replacement part, experienced the same issue again. The company refuses a return via Ebay due to the elapsed 30-day period. An appeal failed, and radioguide is seeking advice on how to speak directly to a human at Ebay instead of a chatbot.
I recently ordered a Rocwood cement mixer. It arrived faulty and the company sent a replacement part for me to repair it.
The same fault occurred again a few weeks later and the mixer broke again. There is a design/manufacturing issue that has caused this to happen, and the company now refuse to accept its return via Ebay as more than 30 days have elapsed since I received it.
I can prove that there is an issue with this product, yet when I appealed the company's decision on Ebay I simply got a message saying 'This case can't be appealed'.
Is there any way to speak to a person working for Ebay rather that a chatbot?!

Mentor3 weeks agoThere's little point in trying to pursue this with eBay, you're out of time. You have 30 days to return an item that's not as described via eBay’s Money Back Guarantee/Buyer Protection, same for PayPal.
If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback.
