ebay seller HIRING items, not selling
There is an ebay UK seller who is HIRING items on the platform, not selling them. Is this legal?
You can view their items via their account name.
I've tried reporting this before but it went via the AI route and that thought nothing was wrong.

Mentor1 month agoIt states in the listing description that they're an eco friendly hire business, yet they're registered as a private seller and clearly don't know how the eBay selling platform works.
Bottom line is, whilst it's a bit ignorant and they won't get any takers (well, they may, but they may literally get their item taken!) it isn't illegal. I wouldn't worry about it. A buyer can't be scammed here, only that seller can be.
