Ebay seller account
Hi, all. I am a new trader on ebay. I used to buy only, but I have now decided to sell. Can I open a seller account with a new password and new email address different from the old ones I use to buy? Thanks.

Mentor10 months agoYou can open a new account or just register this one for selling.

Mentor10 months agoYou can have more than one eBay account provided there is no interaction between them. In other words, you must not bid on your own items or give yourself feedback.
It's a very good idea to have a second account to keep your buying and selling acounts separate. This prevents retalliation against your own selling account if you ever have to leave bad feedback for a seller.
As a seller yourself you will realise how upsetting it is when a buyer praises the item they received, but then leaves you neutral feedback. Was it just a mistake? There may still be time for you to contact the seller and offer to revise this. They can send you a revision request within 30 days of the feedback being left.
