eBay refused to remove feedback when the listing was accurate
I am absolutely fuming this morning... I sold an item which was described perfectly and clear photos were shown of imperfections and was documented in the listing. Yet the buyer left negative feedback straight away on my account due to surface marks. They obviously didn't read the listing fully and inspect all of the photos. As soon as the penny dropped regarding the surface marks they then proceeded to try and say the item didn't work properly (if that was the case why wasn't that their initial arguement) and as soon as they knew I had made a video of the console fully working they then tried to say there were screws missing (again the photos showed all the screws and caps were present).
Anyway eBay won't remove the negative feedback they left for me even though the listing was 100% accurate and the item was in fully working condition as the video I made shows.
eBay are an absolute joke for allowing this negative feedback to be left for me and essentially siding with the buyer. It should never be allowed for buyers to sabotage decent sellers accounts and pull their feedback scores down due to them not reading adverts and looking at all photos, but somehow thats my fault and I have to take the negative!

Mentor9 months agoFeedback rules need to be broken for eBay to remove it, nothing in the buyer's feedback broke those rules.
eBay do not see the item in question, so if the matter cannot be resolved between buyer and seller over condition, and the buyer remains unhappy / disappointed, eBay will side with them.
Remember that replies to feedback , shows potential buyers how you deal with any issues concerning your transactions, it can put people off buying from a seller, if the tone is not ' friendly'.
