eBay refunded
I am still waiting on a refund from eBay, after they successfully confirmed a case in my favour, the refund, in-line with 3-5 business days should have arrived last week. I then chased again on Friday 6th, with confirmation from my CC then the payment has been recieved, and pending on account. However, it has now gone, do I need to query with eBay?

Mentor6 months agoThere are so many messages which need updating / changing , and the 3-5 day refund info , is one example.
It's very wide off the mark , for an exact date for any refund.
Once eBay notify you the refund is made, being processed, then it's not instantly returned to you, and does go back to original payment source.
If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.
Paying with a debit / bank card? Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.
Credit card payment? This takes the longest, up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.

Mentor6 months agoIf by CC you mean credit card, we are always told that refunds go back to source and in the case of payments made by Credit Card it can take 30 days.
Messages from ebay saying 3-5 days are incorrect , but no doubt sent by idiot computer or AI.
