Has anyone else had this happen to them? I opened a new account and started selling and eBay said they would cover postage costs for me for a short period and that any item listed before the 15th of December they would cover the postage up until the 31st and not to worry if the item didn’t sell they would still cover it so long as it’s sold by the 31st. Now I find that the free postage offer has been withdrawn from almost all my items and when I rang to say what was going on I was told that that offer only applied to buy it now and automatic relisting cancelled the offer because the item therefore had not been relisted before the 15th. When I said the original offer had said no such thing and in fact had expressly said so long as it’s sold by the 31st eBay would cover the postage the agent to put the phone down on me. I was perfectly polite I even said I realised it was not the agent’s fault however eBay was not living up to its promises. I’m not a happy bunny and what I’m selling is mostly 100% for charity.Has this happened to anyone else?
