Ebay not letting me Update my Sold Item with postage info & tracking because I did not use their Pre
Sold an item. Buyer received it.
sent Positive Feedback. Yet account still showing as- Pending, postage date overdue, get Prepaid label.”
I used my own postal service. Ebay will not let me update Tracking or Dispatched on Seller Hub- just get repeated message back “ It’s not you it’s Us”.
Can’t contact a Human. All AI questions & Answers do not apply to this situation🤷🏻♂️

Mentor9 months agoThe option to upload different tracking is no longer available. You have to just message buyers with the tracking details. You would still be able to add a new number if the buyer opened an "not received" case.
You can mark dispatched by opening the original pre-paid Simple Delivery label (Get prepaid label > Get prepaid label and QR code). It will remain unused and the cost will be automatically refunded to the buyer in 30 days (assuming they paid for it).

Mentor9 months agoThat will help you not lose the number so helpful in a way. It won't help in an item not received case, or in releasing payment though.

OP9 months agoWell, when I spoke to customer services- they said I needed to add tracking no. To my notes, which I did while still on the phone- then told me my funds would be released in next 24/48hrs.
So your saying this is Not the case?

Mentor9 months agoWe haven't heard that suggestion before so we'll have to wait and see if it speeds up payment. Sounds unlikely but who knows!

Mentor9 months agoEbay won't access your notes, so that won't impact release of payment, buyer feedback doesn't release payment either as it's not linked to tracking.
