eBay is not refunding my money.
I bought a product from a seller in the U.S. and waited for it to arrive in Turkey since I live here. Customs officers sent me a notice and asked for a document labeled Invoice. eBay was too incompetent to provide this, and the product was returned to the seller without ever reaching me. However, when I filed a return request, they rejected it and took away my right to appeal over just $35. Their excuse was that the product arrived and you didn’t pick it up, which is ridiculous. The product never reached me, and I contacted customer service on December 17–18 and February 3 to try to receive it. The responses and documents they provided were laughable. The government in my country required a document labeled INVOICE showing the product number, product code, and what the product was. eBay didn’t care about my requests and just told me to take a screenshot of the order page from my profile and send it. Yes, still ridiculous. Not only did they reject my return request, but they also rejected my appeal. It’s truly a joke. I will never buy anything from here again, and I will keep posting about this everywhere until I get my money back.

Mentor6 months agoThese are the UK boards. We can't help with issues between US sellers and overseas buyers as we don't know the import requirements for Turkey or the ebay.com systems for export documents.
