Ebay increasing the price of my item.

Question

I'm selling something for £38 including the buyer protection fee, but when I view the listing it's showing as selling for £45.18.

With postage the total would only be £40.70.

What else is causing the increase in displayed price?

It does appear to be VAT £32.98+VAT 20% (6.60)+buyer fee £2.02 =£41.60

Was the item sold within the UK? and was it sold to a customer who's account is registered within the UK?

It sold already (item number 178072512964), but this is the 2nd item where the price I set was increased on the live page.

It sold for £32.98 but even now the original listing shows the price as £41.60.

Which item is it, as you do not see to have anything at this price. Without seeing, it is difficult to think of a reason.
