EBay holding my funds for an unnecessarily long time
My funds are being held because eBay claim the item has not been delivered but I can prove it has via Royal Mail special delivery over one week ago. I can’t find a way of proving this to eBay to release funds. Can anyone advise please?

OP6 months agoYes RM tracking is showing on the item but eBay states item dispatched 27th Dec and has not been delivered yet. Where as Royal Mail tracking shows the item has been delivered to the buyer, photographed and signed for.

Mentor6 months agoThis is common when tracking does not update with eBay, does not correspond with what has actually happened, that is, RM's tracking has shown delivery.
As a returning seller, your initial payouts will be held for a little longer, but you could try and contact Customer Services, provide them with the tracking showing delivery and ask if you payout can be released sooner.
I warn you now, it's not easy or quick to speak to a live agent, you have to battle your way through a very persistent bot, but keep asking them for an agent, they will eventually put you through !
I strongly recommend contacting CS 8 a.m. on a weekday when the lines open for ' live agents' as then, there's more chance of Dublin answering.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

As said, it's not easy to get through to CS, you just have to have perseverance! Instead of a quick option, 'Contact Us' which put you direct to a CS agent, you have to scroll past ' How Can We Help you today, to the very bottom and click on the Contact Us below Need More Help?
That takes you to an annoying AI bot but if you persevere keep asking questions it cannot answer and Insist on an agent, they do finally put you through and say .... waiting time ** minutes!

OP6 months agoThank you, all understood and I appreciate the info. I gave up with the bot fight and came to the eBay community believing I’d exhausted all options! I will persevere through to the human agents.
