Ebay has combined postage into 1 postage label on 9 items, how can i resolve?
Summary: mpr09 is seeking advice on resolving a situation where eBay has combined postage into a single postage label for nine items. **peaseblossom** and john1297576 have replied, but the content of their responses is not provided.
Hi,
I've been selling some magazines all listed as individual listings , they are around a cm thick and weigh atleast 400g each if not more.
i've been using simple delivery which i think was a first class large letter at around £2.50 each or something,
i've just had the same buyer buy 9 of the magazines.... which is great..... except for the fact that ebay has "combined" the postage onto 1 label at the same price so £2.50 but for all 9 of the magazines?? i can't possibly post them all in one parcel with that label as they would be well over the weight and size guidelines for that parcel - and as they are only low value, to post them individually without the buyer paying postage would leave me at a loss!!...
can anyone offer any advice here, I think im possibly gonna have to cancel the purchase and relist them but how would i prevent the same thing happening again? i don't see any options to stop ebay from combining postage like this? I have messaged the buyer to explain but haven't had a response from them yet.

Mentor5 months agoWith buyers agreement, cancel sale, then relist as one job lot with suitable postage..

Mentor5 months agoYes, all you can do is cancel/refund the transactions with the buyer's agreement and relist the items for them to buy and pay again. Ask them to stagger the purchases and pay separately so they are not combined.
You can disable combining in your postage preferences but probably would not affect existing listings. Or you could add a note to your descriptions.
