Ebay going down hill how do you get in touch with them as the automated assistant is hopeless

its no use them ringing as they never do and getting so hacked off with the run around

i sold an item in 2021 and the buyer contacted me recently to say it wasnt genuine even though i had the valuations done etc ebay have been hopless and said they cant or wont do anything then advised my buyer to take action through the court its all one sided in my mind and yet i have resovled this issue privatly it just smacks of poor customer service from ebay you cant ring them they dont ring you back what can i do

Mentor10 months agoEbay MBG is only for 30 days, so they won't get involved 4 years later.
Seems odd why buyer took this long to complain.

Mentor10 months agoIf you need to for anything in the future, contact with eBay is through a Live Chat, if you ever need them best to contact CS first thing 8 a.m. on weekdays when lines open for ' live agents' as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Long time to complain 4 years! You say you have valid valuations done for the authenticity for this item, doubt this buyer would venture to court, but to appease your worry, maybe send a polite message reminding them of those valuations , ( validations? ) , may stop them proceeding with any legal route.
