EBAY FEEDBACK STUPIDITY
I want to make a complaint about the stupidity of feedback giving.
I have been using Ebay since 2005.
It used to be that all feedback was voluntary and both parties could leave honest reviews positive or negative.
Then ebay removed a sellers right to leave a negative review even for bad buyers, because some sellers were leaving retaliation feedback.
Now sellers are withholding feedback, or in fact not leaving at all, under the misguidance that buyer feedback means nothing and that they may be giving a positive to a bad buyer!
So buyers then stopped leaving feedback because sellers stopped leaving feedback.
Then ebay (in all their stupid wisdom) decided to give all sellers a positive feedback for every transaction, regardless of the voluntary aspect of it for the buyer.
Buyers are now leaving neutral feedback first, before the positive can be given, if the seller has not left a positive feedback before then.
Ebay is now removing this neutral feedback, as it is seen (by ebay) as extortion for feedback.
So buyers are now 'making up' issues, to warrant the negative feedback!
This is just becoming a tit for tat situation, where there is bad animosity from and for both parties!!!!
Why doesn't ebay just allow sellers and buyers to leave honest feedback and just deal with the 'retaliation' feedback when it comes along?
