Ebay Discount Not Applied
Hi,
I made an offer on an item with a 15% discount.
My offer has now been accepted; but the discount that ebay offered (and thereby correctly advised me of the total cost) hasn't been applied (I assume as the discount code has now expired).
I don't want the item at the increased cost so what do I do please.

Mentor1 month agoOften if making an offer on an item it is instant payment if accepted, so you can't enter discount code as well.

OP1 month agoThanks for that; but in this case I could; and eBay confirmed it. I entered the discount code on my offer of £!39 and eBay confirmed that if the seller accepted my offer the £118 payment would be immediately taken from my payment method.
It usually works too as I have used it on other transactions previously.

Mentor1 month agoHave you paid for the item? IF you haven't request a cancellation, and hope that your seller honours it.

OP1 month agoAh, okay thanks, will do, the seller (Daren at 'Blackmore IT') does seem to be very helpful and understanding.
I think it's an eBay problem really though, as eBay should just have taken payment for the sum (£118) that they said they would as agreed to in the transaction.
If the seller had come back with a counter offer though, then the discount would be void as it would be another transaction outside of the timeframe.
