eBay deleted negative left for sel
I left factual and accurate negative feedback for a seller, the parcel never even left Evri, because of very poor packaging. It took 2 weeks to locate parcel because of bad packaging. And then because the packaging was so poor Evri returned the parcel to the seller.
So now I'm 18 days on from purchase and got nothing but hassle.
Why does eBay delete negative feedback??? All that does is encourage me to buy from a different platform.

Mentor6 months agoThere are a couple of reasons why it might have been deleted, one is a current stated policy and the other used to be.
If the seller used simple delivery then any feedback relating to delivery can be removed.
Mentioning ebay getting involved (case/refund), also seems to result in removal.
Simple negatives that say something like 'very unsatisfactory transaction' give no grounds for removal.

Mentor6 months agoThere are feedback rules to follow, and mentioning a ' full refund' getting eBay involved, breaks those rules, and the seller could ask and has here, for eBay to remove the feedback.

OP6 months agoThat's absolutely stupid of eBay. I had to get them involved because the seller was a clown.
So now it's wrong to state actual facts, I guess they want to keep us supressed from pointing out the FAILURES OF THE SELLER
No wonder loads of people are deserting to other platforms.
So so sad.
