Mentor3 months agoeBay do not deduct money for no reason.
It's hard for us to guess as we have no access to your account, but before contacting a chatbot at CS take a look below see if this answers your question
Did you have to make a refund on a sale ?
Did you add any optional listing upgrades such as reserves on your account these are expensive at 4% of your set reserve payable sale or no sale. Or did you promote your items these are shown as ' ad fees'.
If you listed a car for sale and it didn't sell, those listing fees need to be paid.

OP3 months agoI made a purchase of *£117.95* on April 19th at 18:17 and completed the
payment. Despite this, an additional *£53.31* was deducted from my account
on April 20th at 02:00

Mentor3 months agoAaah, apologies I thought you were a seller and these were some fees being deducted .
Can you check your order details on your Purchase History see what breakdown there is of any other charges, otherwise you may need to contact CS to explain that almost 50% charge, as they do have that full access to your account.
Here's the link below unfortunately, it seems the Call Back option is not operative, though you may be lucky if you try at 8 a.m. when live agents should be on duty, or try now, for an automated response.
