Ebay closed case and refused to help me
Summary: zainad2006 reported that their order was left in an unsecured communal area and subsequently stolen. Despite opening a case and appealing, eBay customer service sided with the seller, citing proof of delivery. zainad2006 highlighted that under UK Consumer Law, the retailer is responsible for delivery until the package is physically received by them.
Hi my order was left at the entry of the block of flats I live and got stolen, I opened a case the seller refused to refund me I made an appeal and eBay customer service closed the case and said the seller have proof of delivery . What can I do .
Under UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015), the retailer you bought the item from is legally responsible for your package until it is physically in your hands or handed to someone you specifically chose to accept it (like a named neighbor). Leaving a parcel in a shared, unsecured communal area or at the bottom of a block of flats does not count as proper delivery.

You could try your funding source for help.
