ebay backed counterfeit selling
I made a purchase of a Yaesu ft 7900 Amateur radio only to find out when it arrived it is a counterfeit radio so I started a return where is claimed I would receive returns label by the 11th Feb and would be refunded by the 11th Feb . No returns label or refund materialised and I chased up the seller and they responded " We have no knowledge of your local logistics and to inform them of the shipping costs in advance " now conveniently they have set thier store to " The seller is away untill 20th Feb 2026 " which is messing me about even more and making me wait even longer for my return and refund . I have since found that they are not a UK store but are a Chinese . Is it unreasonable to think that I was buying from a UK seller and therefore would have to return the fake radio to a UK store , as in the name ukstore , ? Is ot not the responsibility of ebay to make sure if they have ukstore in their name they are in fact a UK store ? Or would that just eat into their profits and money comes before their users ?
I have now tried to report the seller and the fake radios they are selling and it won't let me do that either , it just keeps , conveniently , saying there was an error .
I have been messed about and deceived , and not just by this crooked illegal seller , but by ebay , and the fact the radios are counterfeit radios backs up my claims they are crooked and illegal and I can guarantee ebay will still allow these radios to be sold .
Why can't I make a report about this seller ? Why am I not being supplied with a returns label that will be charged one radio has been handed to royal mail ?, as claimed by ebay , why do I have to ship to China when I purchased from a UK store , as claimed in their name. ? And *bleep* is ebay allowing this practice ? And finally why does ebay allow multiple Chinese sellers all from the same address selling the exact same things ? And finally does ebay not feel they have a duty to weed out these crooks and put the protection of the UK seller way above them? or is that just fanciful and profits come before people ?
Ebay have become more crooked over the years by making it virtually impossible to contact humans all in the protection of profits and crooked trogue raders.

If you opened a return case through Ebay and have not had a label, contact Ebay.

Explain that the seller had until 11th to supply a label and that has not happened. If the radio was sent to you from within the UK, you need a UK address to return it to. (I am assuming it was NOT sent from China but from a UK warehouse?)
Ebay should step in and ask the seller to provide a label or they may refund you without needing to return the item.
Be concise and stick to the key facts:
You need to return the radio because it is fake/not as described.
The seller should have provided a label by 11th.
As the item was sent from within the UK, you expect to return it to a UK address.

The seller's items are located in Shenzhen,Guangdong, China - this is stated on their listings - so you will need to return the item to China.

Mentor6 months agoIf the item location showing on the listing at the top states that its a UK one then that's where you should have to return it, not China.
Can you provide a link to the listing please?
I can see that you've left a negative feedback for them but their seller name is asterisked out.
