EBay authenticity Guarantee Took part of an item I purchased and kept it.
I bought a Pokemon card the other day with a guard on it. (An expensive case to keep the card protected) The seller send the card with the guard on to eBay authenticity guarantee. They checked the card over and confirmed it was legit. Then took the guard off which is worth £50 (which I paid specifically for) and send the card to me without the guard. I’ve tried contacting support but I keep getting forced to chat with a bot. I need to speak to a support member.

Mentor1 month agoYou may need to open an eBay return and select 'Missing parts or pieces' as the reason, and explain that the guard is missing.
First of all, I'd contact eBay and see what they advise. I’ve found that the best route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below where you can call them or request a call back if you’re using the app (if you’re using desktop you’ll need to go round the houses with AI and start a chat then keep typing ‘agent’ until you get the option to live chat with a CS rep or to have a call back):
