Ebay asking me to return a box of what is now broken glass
Hi. I recently received an order comprising of two resin candlesticks, a resin jewelery box, a picture frame and an hourglass. When they arrived they were all smashed to pieces. The seller, who is based in the US ( I am in the UK ) has phoned eBay and they have told them that the fault lies with the carrier and that we're both protected. They want me to return the item, but obviously I am prohibited from sending sharp items through the post. What can I do and why xan I not get a telephone consultation myself? I have sent Customer Service an email but have not heard back from them.
