Ebay android app search is excluding items
I searched for the exact title of an active listing using the ebay android app, but the listing was not returned in the search results.
I can access the listing directly using the item number.
This means I have most likely missed out on items I might have otherwise bought. Most annoying.
Do any of you know how I can flag this up with the ebay developers?
I will remove the app and use a browser until this bug is fixed.

Mentor1 week ago · EditedThe app can be tempermental at the best of times, so work in terms of listing/buying etc always better on the desk top.
In some cases if items are newly listed they may not appear in active searches as they haven't been indexed yet, this can take up to 24 hours.
Was it one of your own listings, or was it something you were looking for?

OP1 week agoThank you. It was something I'm looking for. The listing was last updated: 9 July 2026, 17:51:18 BST but still doesn't show in the app when I search all or part of the keywords from the title. I'm sticking with a browser for now.
