Doubtful seller
Ordered a mat for car. Arrived one day out of estimated delivery. Mat is nothing like what it should be. Asked to contact via my purchase site. There is a code emailed each time I try but once reading code and going back to enter the code boxes disappear. What else can I try?

OP2 weeks agoTried that but didnt get far as item not listed in my purchases. Suspect scam dealer on .ebay

Mentor2 weeks agoDid you order as a guest then? In which case the seller wouldn't know who you are from your name here. Check your email (eg gmail, yahoo etc including spam) to make sure you haven't ordered as a guest. Then read the help pages as returns etc are handled differently.

Mentor2 weeks agoOn every listing aside from Classified ads, eBay write their 30 day MBG, their Money Back Guarantee how to receive a full refund if you receive an item not as described.
Message the seller no more, you don't need any codes, just proceed this way:
If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
