Doggy Parcels
Summary: swong_2007 received multiple packages from Royal Mail for items they did not order, all addressed to the same individual who does not live at their property. They suspect these items might be linked to eBay. tressygirl suggests it could be a mistake by the seller, advising swong_2007 to contact sellers if they have made recent eBay purchases. They mention the possibility of a brushing scam and recommend returning items to the seller if sent in error.
Hi there,
I have received multiple packages/parcels from Royal Mail on my doorstep, which I am not the one that ordered this goods. The name of the buyer is always the same person but not live in my property. I can see on that labels that these goods are sold thorough ebay with an ebay's return IDs. As they are too many right now, and I am no longer comfortable with. Any one has the same experience and can advise what should I do next. Or perhaps is there a way to escalate through ebay to seek further investigation.
Thanks.
Shane

Mentor3 weeks agoAs they're being sent via Royal mail I would cross out your name and address and put 'Not known at this address, return to sender' and then put them in the nearest post box.

Mentor3 weeks agoIt may be that a seller has made a genuine mistake sending items to the wrong buyer?
If you have purchased some recent items from eBay, checkout those sellers, they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.
Click on the seller's listings, then down the left sidebar click on Sold. If you find the item there, send that seller a message that you have received their item in error, for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.
Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.
If this is not the case, and no one else in your household knows of this purchase, google Brushing Scam see if that applies here.
