Do I need to return an item if eBay has refunded me via opening a case?
I’ve been refunded as the result of winning a case but don’t know if I should dispose of the items? There has been no returns slip

Mentor9 months agoWhen ebay refund before return you don't usually have to send the item back. If the seller wants it back they should supply a paid-for postage label upfront. If not you can get rid of it however you like.

OP9 months agoThey disputed the return and haven’t supplied a returns label before I raised the return. Just wish I could have a definitive article confirming this one way or another

Mentor9 months agoThe bottom line is without a return postage label you don't have to send the item back. eBay refund without return when sellers dispute a "Not as described" case and they don't expect the buyer to return the item. Personally I would offer to return if the seller sends a label but you don't have to do that if you prefer not to contact them again.
