Do I need a business Ebay profile?
I have an old business van to sell. Selling for parts but will need to charge and then pay VAT, as we may get audited.
We don't do any other buying or selling through ebay Uk as a business. I have started to set up a business account but realised the commission and paperwork are a bit 'full on' for my one-time selling spree.
Do I need to set up a business ebay account... it gives the only option of allowing returns and I cannot click off it? Also, The listing fee came through as £17.59 and then 20% VAT will need to be paid, and then Ebay want a commission. Does anyone know how much the commission is for a van being sold via a business? Is this the only way to go about this?

Mentor6 months agoAll items on ebay must include VAT, so you cannot add it on.
Motors are best sold as classified ad,
1 listing fee, no final fee.
Not sold until buyers pay you, cash or bank transfer.
You don't need business account to sell this.
