Dimensions of a parcel are bigger that sizes stated on the label sent by ebay
I'm posting a board game . Dimensions are 118cm x 39cm x 6cm.
Ebay have sent me a label and the maximum length states 61cm. I have asked the question and reached out for help but nothing.
Do I need to cancel this sale?

Mentor2 weeks agoYou can cancel the label, and arrange your own means if delivery.
What reason would you use for cancelling sale? You would get a defect on your selling account, if done without agreement of buyer.

Mentor2 weeks agoTo have the buyer pay the correct postage you will have to cancel the sale, but explain to the buyer why you are doing this, you must have their permission to cancel ' Buyer requests to Cancel, as this then will not impact your seller performance.
Then, relist and change the category or sub category until you see Oversized at the bottom, the pop up will show weight under Package size heading. Click on Add Primary Service and buy your own postage.
Or offer Free Postage and factor in your postage costs into your item price, buy your own postage.
Use a laptop not the app for the above.
A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
