Didn’t use “simple delivery” option.
I haven’t used eBay for over a year for selling and forgot to use “simple delivery” tracking. I paid at the post office for my own tracked parcel and it obviously hasn’t shown on eBay listing. I’ve informed the buyer and provided them with the tracking number. But will I still get paid by eBay ?

Mentor11 months agoYou need to at least get it marked as dispatched by opening the original pre-paid Simple Delivery label. It will remain unused.
Then add the new tracking number via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow > Add Tracking. That has to be done on a desktop browser. Even without doing that the payment will be released after 14 days.
If the buyer paid for the original label the cost will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days. Or if you paid for it (ie. free postage on your listing) you can cancel it here:
