Didn’t receive item I paid and nothing gotten a refund yet since 16 june
Ordered a phone from a vendor since 16th June and still not received my item. I have requested a refund and nothing has been done. EBay has to find better ways of protecting customers and process refunds . I am not sure I will shop on eBay ever again once this refund goes through.

Better than what? Better than allowing buyers to claim a guaranteed full refund if it hasn't arrived just one day after the latest estimated delivery date?? What more do you expect?
Or did you simply not read eBay's money back guarantee? There is a link to it in every listing.

Read it, then open an item not received case, Buyers are heavily protected by ebay if you use their systems correctly.
