DHL not collecting

I got a label from Ebay on Simple delivery. They say DHL will bring label and collect. There is no QR code so cannot get the label printed at drop off either. That was two days ago and they are not contactable and Ebay do not care either. Now I have to pay again out of my proceeds. This cannot be right.

There is a known issue that eBay know of, that is, DHL do not seem to be coping with the extra large numbers they are having to deal with, since eBay's Simple delivery started using them as a courier.

This statement from a Community Manager recently, on Wednesday's Weekly Chat....

' You can use your own courier if you wish. DHL are experiencing higher volumes than usual and are working on this to improve the service level. A refund request for the postage can then be made. '

For the unused label if purchased via a Simple Delivery transaction, the refund is made to whoever initially paid for the label this way.....

If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
