Delivery myself
In the item description, am I allowed to say that I am prepared to deliver the item myself (after it has sold on eBay)?

Mentor6 months agoYes you can but you would need to make sure you have collection in person on your listing and that the buyer selects this to get the code to give you to prove collection or self delivery.

OP6 months agoThanks - that was quick! To be clear, what I meant was, am I allowed to offer to deliver it myself within a 50-mile radius of my home and if yes, do I need to select 'Collection Only' or 'Postage or collection in person' or both? Thanks a lot, Neil

Mentor6 months agoYou could not specify a 50 mile radius, if you selected Collection Only, but could outline that ' limit' in your description box.
Collection Only on the whole, does mean collection by the buyer.

Mentor6 months agodo I need to select 'Collection Only' or 'Postage or collection in person' or both?
Yes, but your listing must include collection in person as an option. Without this your buyer will not receive the collection code which acts as your proof of collection.
This is for your own protection. Without it your payment will be held for 14 days and will have to trust your buyer not to claim not to have received it. Without tracking proof of delivery or production of the collection code, as far as eBay is concerned they haven't.
