Delivery miles away
I ordered an item for home delivery. I have discovered this item has been left at a collection point far away from home. What can I do? I have contacted the seller but they send an automated message saying to contact ebay customer service

Mentor1 month agoIf the collection point was somehow selected as default by you without realising then you wouldn't win a "not received" case with ebay. If you can't pick it up maybe there is someone who could on your behalf.
If the collection point is the seller's fault click on the More Actions dropdown menu arrow for the item on your purchases list and select on "I didn't recieve it". That will open a case which you should escalate to ebay after 3 complete working days.

OP1 month agoIs there a way of me been able to tell? I ordered a few things for delivery and everything else is getting delivered to home so im so confused as to what has happened 🙃

Mentor1 month agoCheck the tracking on the email notification or on order details on the right of the item on your purchases list. If you're not sure and it cannot be collected you can always try a "not received" case. That has to be done within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.

OP1 month agoThank you. Im so confused. It just says my delivery address and the tracking details, which then state its ready for collection. I just added same item to basket again to see if I could of possibly done it by mistake , but even if I had selected click and collect it shows a shop near to me that it would go too. I honestly have no clue where I stand. They dont respond as the use the simple delivery whatever its called so have to go through ebay. Nightmare
