Delivery lost after shipment from Royal Mail's Lichfield international hub
As usual, cannot get to speak to a real person at Ebay. A Parcel was lost after despatch from Royal Mail's Lichfield international post hub . Do I refund the buyer or do they, and who should do it first?

Mentor2 months agoeBay should refund and you keep payment. Ask the buyer to open a "not received" case. If necessary respond on the case with the postal tracking number and state that according to Global T&Cs you are not responsible for loss in transit after it has arrived safely at the UK hub. But assuming you used ebay Simple Delivery the refund should be automatic.
If you have any issues with that you can contact eBay on your phone only (not a laptop or PC) to ring them or request they ring you. So view this link on your phone:

OP2 months agothat the package lost contained the items purchased as three seperate
lots. Each was mde up of small, delicate antique wood carvings, so I
combined the three lots in one stronger pacage for safe delivery ( I
hoped). All three now have the same tracking number, and show the same
information. The £134.25 is the combined total value of the shipment of
three lots together. You automated reply system suggests that Ebay will
refund the buyer and reclaim the full sum from Royal Mail. Is this
correct and how does the process get set in motion?
