Delivered package but empty box

Question

Hello folks ordered a joe malone candle for a mate she opened the box to find there was nothing in it

Tried to get a hold of ebay to no avail

Or royal mail either phone numbers rubbish

Never had a problem in 17 years of ordering stuff

If it wasnt £250 i wouldnt be too bothered

Dont want to accuse someone of sending an empty box but not sure if ive been bumped at the same time ??

Unless seller has an explanation or there is obvious damage you need to open a Not as described case., NOT a Not Received case as you received something even if only an empty box.

Does the postage match for weight and size of box or does it indicate weight showing there was something in the box when posted.

If a package is damaged then Royal mail will place it in a plastic bag with a card stating that the packaging appears to be damaged and the contents should be checked for damage loss by the recipient.

For £250 that must be a reasonable size JM candle so there should be some obvious damage showing to the packaging if it fell out.

What's your seller like? Are they a new seller or an established business seller?
