Deleted item following a 'sell one like this' link.
Hello all, I have listed an item for sale following the 'sell one like this' link. The listing has been removed even though there are multiple identical items for sale and/or just been sold.
How can I get round what i see as discriminatory behavious from eBay? The bot is useless and goes round in irrelevant circles.

Listings or content that promote, perpetuate or glorify hatred, violence, or discrimination, including on the grounds of race, ethnicity, color, religion, disability, national origin, sex, gender and gender identity, or sexual orientation, aren't allowed. This includes but is not limited to the following:

Mentor6 months agoThat listing isn't allowed, it comes under eBay's offensive items policy.
It's not discriminatory behaviour by eBay, this is now considered to be offensive and racist material.

OP6 months agoThat listing is currently on eBay and receiving bids, allowed or not. Identical items have been sold in the last few months. eBay UK is not being consistent.

Mentor6 months agoYou will be seeing others listed, and yes some auctions with current bids running, this is not because the items are allowed, it's because they've slipped the net.
The site is Huge, with over 7 billion listings on at any one time, impossible to check each and every one, then some invariably become listed.
Once they are spotted and reported they too will be removed.
eBay rely on members to report items too, there's a report contents button a ? mark bottom right, on every listing.

Bottom line is, however you view it, you can't sell your item on eBay.

Mentor6 months agoMore information would be very useful. Did you copy a listing not in the UK for example, rules on what can be sold are not the same in every country.

OP6 months agoHi, There is one identical item receiveing currently 5 bids in the UK and since Nov 2025, over 20 have been sold.

OP6 months agoThe issue is that last 3 months about 21 were sold. Currently, there is one other receiving bids in the UK.
