Delaying postage
Hello the buyer has requested i delay postage by 5 days as they are away. Im happy to do that but will it affect my rating as a seller as ebay asked me to post in the next two working days

Mentor7 months agoYes, it will affect your rating, and you will receive a late delivery mark on your account.
Very unfair when buyers do this, buy and pay, and Then ask for a delayed dispatch.
Best way forward is to explain to the buyer this would make a defect on your account, you'll need to cancel the order which fully refunds the buyer, then relist when they are able to receive the item, for them to buy and pay again.
Then, with the buyer' agreement, you cancel the order citing Buyer Requests to Cancel, this does not affect your seller performance.
