Delayed postage (managed by eBay)
just sold a laptop and the buyer, using the shipping service managed by eBay chose the cheapest one, and it was delayed for few days.
The item was posted next day, but due to delay, buyer requested a return and marked it as wrong item sent, which is not the case.
Now for the return I have to pay for a return label when the issue is out of my control/responsibility?
How do I chase eBay for the costs?

Mentor2 weeks agoI'd advise your buyer to contact eBay because they've opened a return (and they cannot return an item they don't have yet) instead of an item not received claim.
Pop back when they reply (or don't reply) for advice on how to proceed.

OP2 weeks agoThey received the item, but that was late. At the moment of sale he chose Evri. As I posted the item faster than I was required and not a service I chose, opening a return for no longer needed when I have no fault and yet I have to pay for the return label seems ridiculous.

Mentor2 weeks agoIt is ridiculous that an item delivered late under simple delivery counts as not as described but is not covered by seller protection. There is also no specific drop down choice for this when opening a case.
So the very unfair to you situation is that the buyer is entitled to a return and refund, and you are responsible through no fault of yours.
