Hi all,
I've drawn a blank with trying to add my debit card as a back up to cover selling costs. It's the same TSB debit card that I've used for years on my eBay account and is linked to the bank account I get my pay-outs to.
I'm in good standing on eBay, have no outstanding payments and there is money in my bank account (and nothing to suggest that the bank has blocked any verification from eBay).
The main issue I have is not with the selling costs (as I know these are debited from selling transactions) rather that in order to pay for Royal Mail postage I'm being told to add a card, which in turn is classified as 'ineligible for selling costs.'
I've tried deleting and then adding my bank account (works fine), I've also added the said debit card to cover checkouts (works fine), but as soon as I try and add it to cover selling costs it rejects it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mentor6 days agoSelling costs should be deducted from available funds with ebay or bank account.
I do not see why a debit card is needed, as it is only another way of debiting your bank account and serves no useful purpose as it is not like a credit card that just delays you actually making payment.
