I will not use sellers who use Evri due to the fact not one Evri delivery in the past year has been delivered to my door. They drop them off at a random 'neighbour' which is half a mile away or more (depending on the lucky recipient) or not at all. I have moaned about them on here in the past.
I bought something that was supposed to be sent by Royal Mail 48 tracked and it is coming by Evri. It should have been delivered today but it has only just reached their sorting hub. As it was needed by Monday I have no chance. Can I report the seller and cancel the order as I can get it tomorrow with Amazon?

Mentor1 month agoPrivate sellers using simple delivery don't always get to choose courier, ebay do it based on how quick buyers want item.

If delivery was important, why didn't you buy from Amazon to start with?

OP1 month agoIt's not a private seller , or I assume it's not as they have a shop. I really don't see the point of putting the postage details if it's meaningless, I normally contact a seller if it's not clear what courier they are using but the only detail was Royal Mail 48 Tracked so I didn't think there would be an issue. I don't have an Amazon account, a friend is ordering it for me.

Mentor1 month agoSimple answer is no, you can't cancel the order, or report the seller. If the seller used simple delivery they don't have complete control over the courier ebay chooses.

OP1 month agoI have Royal Mail and DHL as my only two options so I had assumed a seller does have control over the couriers they use. I have excluded Evri for a long time, and more recently Inpost.
