damaged item over 90 days
Summary: kustiepawz is seeking assistance to speak directly with an eBay support agent after facing issues with a damaged purchase. They initially agreed with the seller to close the return request while the issue was being resolved, but communication stopped, leading to a chargeback request. Although the bank temporarily refunded the money, it was later taken back as eBay reported the goods were not returned. The seller indicated they accepted a refund request via eBay and have issued a refund, but both the seller and kustiepawz are now out of pocket. **peaseblossom** suggested to contact eBay through a link on a phone, while *vyolla* mentioned a refund is not possible after 90 days and advised clarifying the situation with eBay.
How can I speak to an actual person / support agent please?
I purchased a large white good in Feb which was damaged.
The seller was resolving and so we mutually agreed to close the return request while they rectified the issue, time went on (3.5 months) and over a few weeks they stopped replying so I raised a chargeback via my payment method.
The bank temporarily refunded me but have now taken the money back from me as ebay are responding to the bank stating I never returned the goods.
The seller has now responded to me as their business closed due to ill health and they are advising they have accepted a refund request via ebay and have issued a refund.
At this point ebay have my £755, the bank has their money back and now both the seller and I are out of pocket.
The bank cannot update me as they only have the information provided by ebay and are advising me that ebay have rejected my claim as I did not return the goods.
I need to speak to a person at ebay - help please anyone ?

Mentor3 months agoAfter 90 days it's not possible for a seller to refund the order, so I'm not sure how your seller has managed that.
As advised, contact eBay and ask them for clarification.
