Damaged in transit
I received an item this week which had been damaged in transit. The images on listing does not show any damage at all but when the box arrived, it was clear it had been dropped or squashed. The item has been hard to find for what I paid so ideally I don’t want to return and the seller really doesn’t want a damaged item back but can’t get through to the right person on eBay. It’s either automated chat or call back which never works. I emailed but doesn’t look like it worked. Any ideas? Thank you

Mentor9 months agoYou don't need to contact eBay for this, as you have 2 choices.
You either open a case for item damaged in transit, and you will be refunded in full. If the seller used Simple Delivery, you will not need to send the item back, eBay refund, and the seller gets to keep the item.
A partial refund for you to keep the item is entirely between you and the seller, this cannot be enforced.
