Damaged ebay parcel/goods by evri via ebay
Summary: sjrowlandstitanium36 started a discussion about a parcel from eBay that was damaged, and it appears the damage occurred while being handled by Evri. 61stephenuk responded, but the content of the response is not provided.
I recently sold a rugby shirt for £20 that was shipped by evri to Scotland. Evri stated the parcel was damaged and because of this ebay didn't deliver. I filled in and completed a claim form with evri. Next day I received an email off evri saying they no longer deal with claims, and that I should contact ebay. Always previously it was evri I claimed for lost damaged parcels. Can someone give me avery detailed information on how I claim with ebay as ive never experienced this b4. Surely if the parcel was damaged and its contents, then eventually evri are responsible. Im selling for a charity on my account, and I dont want the charity to loose £20. Who makes the claim, me the seller or the buyer. Does ebay insure both parties. Thanks everyone in advance.

Mentor5 months agoAs long as you used the label provided by eBay both you and the buyer are covered.
Your buyer needs to open a case for item not received and eBay will check the tracking and refund them if delivery is not shown as completed, you will keep the buyers payment.
