i would like to know how do I claim as a seller when a parcel is damaged in post

Assuming you used Simple Delivery ask the buyer to open a return using the reason "Item Damaged". Then ebay will issue the refund (return of item will not be required) and you keep the payment.

Hi
No it was through eBay delivery system using UPS and not going through pack link or simple delivery, there is no option on eBay to handle this
