Customer wants return
Summary: ovaltinetrees_96 is distressed about a buyer who complained about a marked card and is demanding additional free Pokémon cards. They suspect the buyer of tampering and blackmail as the buyer threatened to leave a negative review unless their demands are met. tommystrezures advises offering a full refund if the buyer returns the item and suggests blocking them. **peaseblossom** recommends reporting the buyer on a selling platform as abusive. *vyolla* seeks clarification regarding the original offer of free cards.
Hello ladies and gentlemen and thank you for reading this out as I am deeply distressed. I have sent my Pokémon cards out and the person has received them. They are complaining that my dark Charizard had a mark on it. It didn’t at the time I sold it to him. I have pictures to prove this. And what has made this scammer obvious is that they’ve put on mine on Mark on the bottom right hand corner and then trying to extort me for another free Pokémon cards otherwise they’re going to return and council my order which they’ve already received them put a good review up for. Now because I didn’t answer to him by 8 o’clock yesterday morning he bombarded me with messages and his threatening me to send my Pokémon cards back. If I do not give him the free Pokémon cards that I originally said I was going to give him so technically I am being blackmailed what do I do?

Mentor1 week agoHe could send back but without opening a proper return case, you sould not be obliged to refund, so it is no doubt a lot of hot air from a poor buyer.
Also a buyer cannot cancel a purchase, it is sll threats to get something for nothing.
As already suggested report buyer to ebay.
Unless he opens a return case of some sort you are not required to do anything, except report his attempts at blackmail.
It is possible he is in ebay’s bad book already, for similar behaviour to other sellers, and would therefore be reluctant to open a case.

What does this bit mean, did you say that you were going to enclose some additional free cards?

Mentor1 week agoReport them to ebay here:

There is also an "abusive buyer" link on there, you can use that too.

Mentor1 week agoIf he wants a refund he needs to open the correct case, return the item for a full refund. Do not bow into demands of freebies. Also add them to your blocked list so they can’t buy in future.
